With over 29 years of experience in the Retail and Mass Market sector, Aldo De Grandis is a recognized leader in commercial strategy and enterprise transformation.
He has built his career within complex and structured organizations such as Carrefour, Conforama, and Conbipel, where he held top-level positions leading teams of over 1,500 people and managing revenues of up to €230 million, achieving significant results in terms of growth, efficiency, and profitability.
As Chief Commercial Officer of Conbipel for 17 years, he oversaw Retail and Franchising, Marketing, Visual Merchandising, Omnichannel, Logistics, and Real Estate, working under two international ownerships — the American private equity fund Oaktree and the Indian group Grow Capital — also serving as Interim General Manager.
Throughout his career, Aldo has successfully tackled complex challenges such as corporate restructuring, M&A transactions and digital transformation, gaining a comprehensive view of the entire business value chain and developing strong expertise in P&L management, commercial and real estate growth, cost optimization, and leveraging operational synergies.
Today, as Managing Director at Compendium, Aldo leads the execution of the Group’s strategic expansion plan, with a particular focus on unlocking operational synergies and developing a scalable model built on technology, structured processes, and integrated professional services. His energetic leadership, ability to steer cross-functional teams, and strategic vision make him a key figure in Compendium’s journey of growth and consolidation within the HR, Payroll, and Finance & Administration sectors.
